The local-history afternoon
Late start and brunch → check current hours at Heritage Park → stroll downtown → pick up dinner and enjoy it with a Gulf view.
When the weather changes
Swap the beach for a museum, a long lunch, a board game, or a movie. Check official attraction pages and local weather updates before heading out; storms can affect beach and park access.
